Sieve Press: Standard sieve baskets are loaded into the ring and a platen is attached to the circular plate which would spin while adding a constant downforce – this machine would take out foreign materials from a customer’s specialty powder like substance. Prior to having this tool the objects were picked out manually and without consistent success - often times the powder would be found to be contaminated later on in processing causing defective/unusable batches.
